Mondays have their own unique charms, don't they?
A weekend of extra fun left my house looking nutty and I wouldn't say that I enjoy cleaning, but if you've gotta do it, Monday's a fine day.
Silas "backyuned" (vacuumed) the stairs for me.
I made impressed myself by making homemade bread sticks from memory only to realize later that I forgot the oil and the salt.
We did a little grocery shopping.
We made a $4 run for the border.
Ain't no shame.
{You have my heart, Taco Bell.}
We did what needed doin' and we danced while we did it.
Today was a very good day.
As far as Mondays are concerned.
If you'd like to show us the best part of your day, link on up!
But either way, tell us: what was the salsa on your burrito?
Happy Monday, Countrymen.
That really does sound like a perfect day : )
ReplyDeleteLOVE your money shot.
Super glad MSM is back! YOW!
ReplyDeleteToday the sour cream on THIS burrito was not having to do anything. I mean, I had things to do. Feed and walk the doggies. Help out my hubby. Feed and walk myself. Gotcha! But I didn't have to do anything or be anywhere. It was lazy.
I ate carrot cake. And I found some beautiful images in an email from my sister that put a lot of dumb stuff (election stuff) that was bugging me into focus.
You've made me want to hit a Taco Stand. Damn You!

Oh Siley, you are too sweet. Come over.
ReplyDeleteIt would be funner to clean a NEW house, right?
I can't wait till I get to see your hall office wallpaper again.
Sounds good to me. Our Monday wasn't nearly that fun. Not by a long shot.
ReplyDeleteMSM - yay! I knew there was a reason I took a picture of my coffee today. :) (This could be the cold medicine talking/blogging b/c I took Nyquil for the first time in four years.)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to know I am not the only person who forgets things while baking/cooking. Glad you had a good Monday, anyway.
A taco and a burrito. My kind of meal.
ReplyDeleteLove MSM! The best thing about our Monday was that our Governor announced it would be Halloween after Hurricane Sandy interrupted our official October 31st holiday. Getting back to a little something normal just feels right. It was almost as good as the real October 31st, but not quite. I love a normal day. It makes the not-so-normal days seem further away. Glad you had a nice Monday:)
ReplyDeleteI love that about Monday! Having everything back in it's place (for a minute, until the kiddo takes it out haha!). Good stuff.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, I love tacos so much. The salsa on my chips was... the lovely walk & talk with my friend and my dog!
ReplyDeleteI had a good Monday, busy and profitable at work, my home looked sparkly clean and cosy when I got home, but the salsa was, I cooked dinner and both husband and daughter ate it without complaining! That's a score for me.
ReplyDeleteYay! It's back! I'll officially do Mondays again. And yay for Taco Bell and for you, too.
ReplyDeleteI've been enjoying your blog for a few weeks now and now that you've posted a picture of Taco Bell, I just know we're going to be good friends. A very good Monday, indeed.
