    1. These suckers are STURDY! I had no idea they were McD's until I took a very close look. Don't make 'em like they used to! My kids were positively giddy.

    2. true story: I had Brother bear on his scooter. I remember him still.
My kids always always always are playing with mcdonalds toys. It's like, their favorite. Is that weird?

I think your heart is made of peony. FOR SURE.

I need more salsa also. And I'm stealing your kids. They're so ding dang adorable. By stealing I mean borrowing for a short time while you go on a date. Then I'm giving them back.

I step on your word limits. You can't buy me hot dog man!

  9. How fun are those Berenstain Bears! And a complete set! We just picked up a BB book at a garage sale, and I had to laugh while reading it to my daughter...it talks about taking pictures into the "photo store" to be developed, then the family is sitting around looking at all the photos. My girl couldn't even comprehend that one, lol.

  11. totally remember those exact mcds toys! the pic of siley {not} peeing is hilarious! my heart may too, be made of part peony. but i'm interracial, so there are a few more loves mixed up in there.

  12. I may have snorted just a bit with the "he's not peeing" comment and picture.

  13. Maggi brand chili sauce? No way Jose. Or as they say here "Chili Sos." So I'm new...do you NOT like one of them? Would you like an authentic bottle of "Thai Chili Sos" (ya know, like they have on the tables at KFC here?:) It's a bit vinegary, and I'm not sure how anyone eats the regular Chili Sos with their original recipe legs. I always ALWAYS use the Thai stuff on my annual visit to KFC.

  15. I can attest to the fact that those happy meal toys are sturdy...we have that wheelbarrow AND the little red wagon mixed in with all the toys in the toybox. They are from my childhood...but I would not have remembered where! NOW I know!

  16. I really want to believe you about Silas. Really, I do. On fact, I choose to believe. I have those BB's, too! I collected all kinds of Happy Meal toys that my kids play with when we go to my Mom's. So it was an inexplicable thrill to see them here, believe it or not. So, thanks! I needed a pick-me-up this morning! :)

  26. LOVE the Bears! My daughter is just getting into them. And as far as the chili sauce, nothing compares to marinating shrimp in the sweet chili cause with cilantro and a little oil, then grill. Best shrimp ever!
