Apartment Therapy House Tour

It's been a good day. We picked blueberries the size of nickels. I had 2 hours to wrestle Lainey. I had a heck of a turkey sandwich and a handful of Ranier cherries for lunch. I talked to an old friend. I spent the evening with a newish friend. Ruby cried mournfully, during an emotional fit, "Everyone keeps walking faster than meeeee" (and that's just sort of funny).

And? I'm featured today at Apartment Therapy.

Check it here.

Everyone's all restless over my lack of geekiness. I understand, I do. It's possible, upon reflection, that my geek is mostly inner.

But I promise, it's in there.

And just in case you still don't believe me:

Case closed.

  24. Okay, I think I asked for this awhile ago, so THANKS! Is it bad that I think my favorite part of your house is that dreamy sink? The one with the 3 or so faucets? Is it in the laundry? And I am coveting most of your stuff right now... the soap crate with the towels? You pick the best stuff!! Have a great Friday!

You are a geek - as the mom of one, I can spot them a mile away ;) Not really, but you're not very good at hiding who you are - love that about you! Hope everyone is well and we miss you!

  44. I just read your glasses post and laughed a lot. In high school, I bought about thirteen pairs of ugly black framed glasses at the dollar store (they were 10 cents a pair. . . and this was loooong before black frames were cool/chic!) and wore a pair and passed the rest out to random people in the mall. There were twelve other random people with awkward glasses wandering around. I like to think of it as the day I made the whole mall laugh.
    Love your posts!-Shannon

  50. Being a newishee reader here, I have not had the privilege of a house tour prior to this. I felt like I should have put on my Sunday hat and white gloves. It was so neat, tidy and pretty. And I love the orange chair and the direction of colour. What a beautiful space you have created. I am inspired. Although I won't be purchasing any new aviator glasses anytime soon : )

I didn't read this post...I just looked at the pictures as I'm supposed to be headed out the door to go by MT a unicorn for his birthday tomorrow...regardless...that picture of you made me laugh...if you stare at your teeth it looks like have fangs like a vampire...or like that girl from the bachelor...perhaps its just an optical illusion...or perhaps you really did pick up a pair of fangs for yourself on your last flea market outing...
