UPDATE: SOLD! (The perfume, not the house.)
I'm sorry Mama, I never meant to hurt you. I never meant to make you cry, but tonight, I'm cleaning out my closet.
I'm purging. You're purging. We're all purging.
I got the hair-brained idea that I might offer some of the top-dog things to youn's, on the off chance that any of it might interest you.
The $$ raised will be directed 100% toward a cause. But I can't tell you what that cause is right now. You'll just have to trust me.
And no, the cause isn't a lifetime supply of Santitas, delivered right to my door. Though could you really judge me if it was?
I present to you: Item Number One
Have you ever heard of Fresh Index perfumes? I met them years ago at Sephora when we lived in DC and only Big Towns had a Sephora. I fell in love. But they are really pricey, so I never did buy any.
Then, a couple of years ago, I landed this for Christmas:

Then, a couple of years ago, I landed this for Christmas:
It is a book, a little bigger than the size of a real book...
With a bookplate and everything...
And 15 of the most popular Fresh scents.
This is hands-down the most extravagant Christmas gift I have ever received.
But then a funny thing happened: I never wore it.

Here are the two bottles (Pear Cassis on the left and Pomegranate Anise on the right) that are on the low-side. But the rest are nearly untouched. I smell them all of the time, just because they make me happy. They are divine.
I wavered on whether or not I'm ready to part with it, because maybe there does still lurk within me a girl who does her hair and wears perfume.
Alas, this needs a home that will love it to its full potential.
The retail was $100.
I'm selling it for $35, including free shipping anywhere in the US.
