*Also, we watched the movie Big Night last night. A little-known, mid-'90s foodie classic. With Stanley Tucci. It is best watched with marinara sauce dribbling down one's chin. If that's not possible, just light a garlic-scented candle and pretend.
Hope your night is all you want it to be and more.
ReplyDeleteGod bless and sweet dreams...
Sounds like the perfect evening. We are very similar farmgirls:)
ReplyDeleteGet better soon! Hope you have/had a precious evening with hubby, tea, and comedy. Sleep tight - don't let the bed bugs bite!

I love taking NyQuil. Does that sound bad? I only do it when I'm really sick but I appreciate it's ability to make me feel like I am one with my bed.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a good night to me! I need NyQuil and Tylenol and a bed right now...
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your night!

Oh...my....goodness....we have the same BED!!!!! Can't believe it! I love, love love that bed! I have a NETFLIX movie to watch and will be cleaning out the drawers on my dresser which I must do because I haven't done so in a year! Hubby works tomorrow so I see some sewing (lounge pants with vintage sheets).

The only thing that would have made it better would have been for us to pick up the kiddos and keep them over night. (of course ,we would have had our own big plans for the four of us!) A little candy land, ice cream bars, loads of books and maybe pretend farming. Aaaahhhh thats the life!
ReplyDeleteyou know you say the party never stops around here but I love those easy going nights with a yummy dinner at home and then putting the kiddos to bed so that I can cuddle with my husband and relax! It sounds just great to me!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I like your little corner for watching TV and love Contant Comment! Hope you feel better soon! :o)
