On Second Thought...

I really wanted a glass door for this cabinet. I was despondent when I learned that it was not a standard option. Despondent, I tell you.

It seemed like it would have added the perfect element of detail and contrast. And what a fantastic opportunity for display!

Alas...

  2. We have glass on all our top cabinets, and I'll tell ya, it keeps you on your toes when it comes to putting things away!

    Feel lucky.

  3. A door hides a multitude of sins! I have all open shelving in my kitchen. It keeps me on my toes too.

  5. You had me there. Hey, you could always move that stuff and just put some pretties in there, but I guess you have that stuff there for a reason.

  7. I love the glass cabinet fronts, too. But my secret would be out... People think i am really neat and organized when really i just shove and hide all chaos. THAT is what my drawers and cabinets look like too. Our cover would be blown!

  9. I have the one glass front and it's a job to keep the spices hidden behind the " blue ware" !

  10. I'm there with you. Glass is beautiful, but my cupboards are not display worthy:)

  11. Mine aren't either, but you could totally take the door off if you really wanted to display...

  12. Glass doors always seem appealing -- until you actually get them and are stuck looking at the contents of your disorganized cupboards...

  17. That's funny! I wish I could have some open shelves or some glass front cabinets, but alas, I have the same problem. Have a great day!! :)

  18. The best and prettiest glass front cabinets are always found in magazines. Magazine stylists rarely have to deal with a cabinet full of plastic sippy cups and Disney place settings. Someone really should tell them about real life. :-)
