Never Leaving

We spent half the day yesterday taking Calvin to see his doctor. Now that we only do this monthly, I cannot fathom doing it weekly, as we did last Summer. We took a bag full of cucumbers and zucchini to share with Dr. G and the nurses and I felt like a character in Little House on the Prairie, paying for Doc Baker's services with fresh garden produce.

This is the road we traveled to get back home.

I looked behind me, at the dust we had just kicked up, and I decided, once and for all, that I'm never leaving.

A few hours later, returning from yet another doctor's appointment, I passed this by, and it sealed the deal.

  1. I'm SO glad you are never leaving...'cause I don't think I'm ever leaving either...maybe as R and I retire we can move out to the Country and be closer!

  5. I was out in Shipshewana on Monday and I thought of you as we drove by Goshen. I guess it was laundry day in Shipshewana. What a beautiful sight, clotheslines blowing, men out working the fields with their horses. I live semi rural, but I wish I were on a gravel road. SO homey.
