How do I love thee, Anthropologie?

I love your exposed beams and hardwood floors.

I love your sales bins, that greet me as soon as I walk through the door.

I love your glass dishes and decanters that cause me to tremble with fear as I tip-toe through your narrow aisles with my giant bag on my arm.

I love your cards and paper items and especially your $4 paper mouse pad that came home with me.

I love your throw pillows and want them for every season.

I love your myriad glass knobs.

I love every kitchen item that you offer.

Especially these.

I love your letters.

I love your numbers.

I even love your blue bird.

I love your bedding and envy anyone who can afford it.

I love your black, pink, and white sweater.

I love your sailor pants and cropped trench. And floral cardi.

But most of all, I love your clearance racks.

  1. i'm not sure exactly what to leave as a comment, but i feel guilted into leaving one. i hope this will do (for now).

  2. i am in love with anthropologie. i never thought i'd find anyone who adored it as much as i. until i read your blog! you don't know me, but i am a old friend of sarah hutson (tyson) and another friend of ours, holly, was addicted to your blog and introduced me...and now i am addicted as well! :)

  3. Shannan, if only I could find one of these in TX. Surely it has a Southwestern sister. You honored this store beautifully. You should charge a marketing fee. Discounts off merchandise, perhaps. My favorite: the blue-flowered glass knobs. I think I need them. Need! :o)

  4. :O Cute stuff! I have never been to one. :|
